We really don't give TVB Stars enough credit. I find them to be more than just "actors who read scripts" as some people see them. They're really wise people with great perspective on life. I really admire Maggie Cheung Ho Yee. Before she was diagnosed with her Thyroid Disease I found her to be a great actress, but she had a rough personality of course because of her "Fued" with Jessica Hsuan, Kenix Kwok, & Charmaine Sheh. Now I see as a changed person. She had Wealth & Popularity and her Health force her to take a near 2 years leave. Although I always say I hope she comes back soon and film TVB Series I feel now she should put her Health first. She looks like she has fully recovered base on pictures but we can never know for sure. Her disease seems to be very serious: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Thyroid_disease. I can definitely see the disease has taken a toll on her. I hope she regains her health soon. After downloading Mr. Hong Kong 2007 in High Quality I noticed there seem to be something uneven about Maggie's appearance. Besides her softer voice I couldn't pin point what it was until now. When she looked into the camera I notice she has become "cross eyed". Is this just me? Does anyone else see it? Maggie also was known for bust and curves after her endorsement for "LF", the beauty enhancement company that was started by Marianne Chan Miu Ying. (Also recently famed Maggie Shiu for her curves.) Anyways, I remember Natalie Tong mentioning she wish she could have curves like Maggie Cheung. However, if you watch Mr. HK you can see she's almost completely flat and is no longer the near "D" cup advertise in magazines for "LF". Labels: Insights |

Its strange because Maggie's eyes weren't like that before.
You can watch the full Mr. Hk show at TnPlace or Tudou.com.
yea . Maggie's eyes look strange now . but i hope she recovers soon!
Yes, Maggie does looks like she has crossed eyes, but I'm glad she feels better now than before.
TVB has been overworking their artists and they hardly have enough rest. Also, the artists do ads and functions, so they don't have enough sleeping time.
I don't know if because I wasn't in their shoes, so I can say really easy, but if I would trade to be in their shoes, I wouldn't wish to because I don't like to overwork myself.
Asia, which forum in tnplace that I can watch Mr. HK 2007?
Thanks a lot.

Thyroid sometimes cause the imbalance of eyeballs, it pushes either one of your eyeball out of its socket. Although, not that extreme but you can tell if you look closely enough.
no matter wat, at least she can act well.
I remember see her in an interview at the beginning of her thyroid problem she sad she had a lasik surgery to have 20/20 vision. Since then I've notice her eye looks wider, and then she announce she won't film for a while because of thyroid problem.
Oh I see why her eyes are bulging out now. Its the thyroid. And yea, maybe her lasik surgery might have caused the problem.
Yes, I see it too. Her left eye bulges it out and it's because of her thyroid problem. I forget the biological reason behind it. Poor Maggie.
Maggie has a thyroid condition known as Graves' disease which is an autoimmune disease that causes an overproduction of the thyroid hormone. It is characterized by a lot of things including anxiety, fast heart rate, goiter (an enlargement of the thryroid gland located on your neck), and exophthalmos (seen with the bulging of her eyes.) You can correct most of the symptoms by taking medicines to balance out your thyroid hormones but unfortunately, the eye bulge is a permanent fixture most of the time. She may need plastic surgery to correct that.
