~> Ups & Downs In The Sea of Haistyles <~

~Introduction: This another feature I thought of recently. I feel interested in exploring another side of TVB Artiste's hairstyles, but now offscreen. I really wanted to compare & contrast whether artistes look better with hair up or down? Some artistes always leave their hair up when they look better with it down, and some just wont put it up even though it actually looks better down.

~Interesting Fact: TVB mandates all contestants in the Miss Hong Kong & Miss Chinese International to wear their hair up the night of the pageant. I read the Miss Chinese International pageant is really strict about this because its... well, international. The MHK I believe lets them tied it back & let it down partially down during the swimsuit competetion. This is because they want to see their true beauty not too enhance by the hair.

~The Artistes...

~Jessica Hsaun: I actually like Jessica's hair up than down. She is really beautiful so I dont think she needs the added hair down to style & enhance her beauty. If anything I think she's prettier with her hair up, especially in her Estee Lauder ads. With her down she looks a little older than usual, and I never was fond of her bangs. I really liked her hair in LMS when it was down.

~Charmaine Sheh: Charmaine is the other case I think. I always thought she look alot better with her hair down. Thats why I really liked her look in Angels of Mission because she always had it down, and beautifully styled. But I must admit she looks alot more sophisticated with her hair up though.

~The Male Artistes: Who said men cant have their hair up and down obviously havent seen TVB's male artistes, because the men at TVB perfected the art of leaving their hair up, or switching it up a little and leaving it down.

~Ron Ng: Ron always left his hair up especially in the beginning of his career, but now he leaves it down. I actually like it down, he looks so edgy yet cute. I think Ron actually attempted to build the highest hair due when he had his hair down, almost to the ceiling... check out the picture below. But Ron does look alot younger when he had his hair up.

~Kevin Cheng: Kevin was a tough one. He always had his hair up, it wasnt until recently that he starting leaving his hair down. I think Kevin looks better with his hair down than up because there's that added sophistication and class that shows in each picture. I really like his hairstyle that was up back when he was filming Not Just A Pretty Face, yeah, it was hot especially in that golden tan color.
