TVB-G Did You Know That... ???

TVB Generation's Did You Know That...???: A new feature with fill with interesting facts that may or may have not known about. My goal is to share some of these facts, and hope you learn something new that you didnt know before. These facts range from TVB, Artistes, Scientific, to Cultural facts. Pass it on in forums, or start off conversations with people who dont know about these. Did You Know That: Sonjia Kwok, and Michelle Reis are considered to be the prettiest Miss Hong Kong winners because only these two Miss Hong Kong winners are able to successfully take home the Miss Chinese International title for Hong Kong. Another interesting fact, TVB stopped sending MHK winners to the Miss Universe pageant after Sonjia Kwok's year. I also just learned recently that Sonjia is a quarter English. Did You Know That: Keanu Reeves, famous for his role in The Matrix trilogy, and now with newly opened movie "The Lakehouse" with Sandra Bullock is part Chinese? This is a true fact, you guys can look it up. Keanu is a quarter Chinese & Hawaiian, and half English. Keanu was actually named one of 100th sexiest asian men on an online poll. Did You Know That: Belinda Hamnett was the winner of the Miss Asia Pageant in 1997? She soon later became an ATV actress, but when her contract ended she headed over to TVB to film series. Belinda, and Victoria Jolly (former MHK runners up) made TVB history when they broke down the race barrier onscreen making TVB's Not Just A Pretty Face the first TVB series where two mixed raced Chinese girls had a major character roles. Did You Know That: Amy Kwok the winner of the 1991 Miss Hong Kong pageant was disqualified at the Miss Universe Pageant because she is a U.S. citizen. Amy was actually a hot contender for the title because she had a very high education and beauty. Amy is the first contracted TVB artiste ever to hold a Master's Degree. Did You Know That: The average person swallows 12 cockroaches, & 8 spiders each year, and hundreds of insects in their lifetime? This is because everyone sooner or later will have their mouth open when they sleep, thats why they dont know it. Watching War of the Gender with the giant cockroach (Kenneth Ma was inside the costume) really creeped me out, but this to me is really disturbing. I dont know about you, but swallowing one cockroach is already too much. I actually like Spiders, especially when watching TVB's Journey To The West with Angie Cheung, & Rain Lau playing the seductive spider demons, but I really dont love them that much to swallow them.
